Imaan Operations respects your privacy and handles personal data carefully. This statement explains, in simple terms, how personal data is used when you contact or work with Imaan Operations.
1. Data we may process
Depending on your contact or assignment, this may include your name, business name, email address, telephone number, correspondence, invoicing details and information you voluntarily provide in connection with an inquiry or service.
2. Why we use it
Personal data is used only where reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, prepare or perform an agreement, communicate about services, administer assignments and invoices, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate business interests where permitted by law.
3. Data received while supporting a client
Some assignments may involve access to a client's mailbox, files, customer information or administration. Where Imaan Operations processes personal data on a client's behalf, that data is handled only for the agreed assignment and according to the client's documented instructions. Where legally required, the parties will enter into a separate data processing agreement.
4. Sharing and security
Personal data is not sold. It is shared only when necessary for the service, when using appropriate service providers, when instructed or authorised by the client, or when required by law. Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal data, while no digital system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
5. Retention
Personal data is kept no longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
6. Your rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
7. Website
This website does not currently use a contact form, advertising trackers or analytics. If this changes, this Privacy Statement will be updated where required.
